Driven in large part by LGBTQ+ employee advocacy, our sponsors help us to not only put on a world-class Pride celebration and support community efforts around the region, but to also foster and support ongoing advancements in equity and inclusion for all of our LGBTQ+ community, year-round.

The big hoorah that is the Waterfront Pride Festival and Parade moved to July a few years back because of scheduling conflicts, including with the Rose Festival and Juneteenth celebrations. In doing so, the hope was to stretch the party across not one but two months. But in reality, the city has settled into a rhythm of celebrating Pride mostly in June, with the rest of the world, and then rallying for a big party and parade a few weeks later—more like drag brunch the next day than a single marathon menu.

Known far and wide as a gay-friendly destination, Portland is open and accepting to visitors of all stripes. Portland Pride normally includes a weekend festival at Tom McCall Waterfront Park and an epic, joyous parade winding through downtown Portland. Portland Pride.

Pride Northwest, Inc. Pride Northwest is a (c)3 nonprofit organization that produces the annual Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade, and hosts, supports or sponsors a number of other LGBTQIA2S+ events and community programs throughout the year.

Come celebrate Portland Pride with this fun run, walk, and roll on the waterfront, hosted by Portland Frontrunners! We are honored again to have Poison Waters as our special guest who will be motivating, entertaining, and celebrating with us before and after the race. Light snacks, beverages, and music will await you at the finish line.
